Established in August 2004, Alpha Biolabs is an accredited DNA Paternity, Drug and Alcohol Testing Laboratory. We provide testing to the legal profession, corporations and members of the public who require it.

Our brand values centre around providing better value DNA and Drug testing to whoever requires it.  This could result in a member of the public being able to afford accredited testing whereas in the past they could not.  Or it could help the Legal Services Comission (LSC) reduce the overall expenditure used in LSC funded cases by solicitors taking advantage of our £290 plus VAT industry beating DNA Paternity Test.  This is over 30% more cost effective than any other Ministry of Justice accredited DNA Tester.

Based in the North West of England, Alpha Biolabs is at the heart of the North’s life sciences business and research community and is ideally placed to provide a testing service second to none throughout the UK.

Innovation has been at the forfront of our minds.  Alpha Biolabs are proud to outline the following innovations as an example to demonstrate how we have moulded the industry of the years.

• In 2004, no other company offered a nurse sample collection service.  Alpha Biolabs set up a network of nurses in 2005 only to be copied by other companies in our sector.  
• In 2004, Alpha Biolabs set up 2 walk in centres, one in Liverpool and the other in London.  Since then it appears that the idea has caught on throughout the industry.
• In 2011, we are still the only laboratory able to offer the legal profession solicitors both accredited DNA testing and Drug Testing and therefore provide a 'one stop shop' making the process of ordering DNA and Drug testing as convenient as possible.  We have been providing this service for over 2 years.
