It is accepted that a lawyer usually gets 28 days to submit DNA evidence.  A standard Legal DNA Paternity Test within 8 - 10 working days is ideal for this purpose and is also 25% more cost effective than a 5 working day DNA Paternity test.  Results are available within 8 - 10 working days once all DNA samples are received into our UKAS ISO17025 accredited laboratory.

It follows a strict chain of custody and that is what make our test reports acceptable to the civil courts.  Our strict chain of custody procedures involves:

·    Samples being collected by a neutral third party such as a company nurse or a doctor.

·    Sample donors are appropriately identified at their sample collection appointment(s) which a photograph and copy of suitable identification being obtained.

·    Samples are sealed with tamper proof tape at the sample collection appointment and either hand delivered to our laboratory or by courier. Once the samples are logged into our laboratory the samples are thoroughly checked for tampering.
