Hair strand analysis gives a unique detailed account of an individual’s long term drug history. Drugs and metabolites remain stable in the hair shaft enabling drug detection long after the drug has gone from the rest of the body.  Further to this, since research confirms that head hair grows at an average rate of 1.0 cm per month.

Alpha Biolabs highly skilled staff is able to give detailed reports of drug use for a month to month period.  Therefore, this type of testing provides definitive answers regarding drug use or abstinence from 1 week for up to a 12 month period depending on the length of the hair being tested.
