Here at Alpha Biolaboratories we understand that one of the most important parts of our service is convenience and the speed the sample(s) can be collected from the sample donor.

We offer a secure, rapid and convenient service by our experienced network of highly qualified staff nurses. Our staff nurses provide a friendly and reliable service, which guarantee correct sample collection, whilst observing strict chain of custody procedures that safeguard the integrity of the sample.

From receiving your instruction we will register the case and will promptly send you a formal quotation. We are then able to dispatch a qualified Alpha Biolaboratories staff nurse to a designated location to collect the sample.

Sampling and the Sampling Appointment

Most of the testing at Alpha Biolaboratories is carried out using mouth swabs, hair, urine or blood samples. The sampling procedure is easy and fast, ensuring a reliable test.

Easy

A company nurse/doctor will swab a sterile polyester-tipped applicator around the inside of your client(s) mouth for just a few seconds, or collect the relevant hair, urine or blood sample appropriately.

Painless

The sampling procedure for Hair Strand Analysis and DNA Testing is completely painless. A blood sample will be needed for some types of Alcohol testing.

Fast

Sampling takes just a few minutes. Our company staff nurse will fill out a sample authorisation form, which the sample donor will need to sign. The whole sample collection procedure should take less than 30 minutes from start to finish.

Accurate

Alpha Biolaboratories DNA testing services is accredited to ISO17025 and certified to ISO9001. Alpha Biolaboratories Drug and Alcohol testing services are certified to ISO9001.

Local

The samples can be collected from any location convenient for the sample donor. This option allows confirmation of correct identification.
